The Bends Charlotte Concert reviews
The Bends was a disaster, I'm sure it was good. We could not even enjoy or hear the show. Everyone was shoulder to shoulder, which is fine, but there were so many young drunk kids there. One girl was screaming how she loved her fake I.D. Age range 18 to maybe 22? So many fights at a concert, I've never seen. They were falling over onto people that were trying to enjoy the show, plus all the weed that was being smoked around us was crazy. I felt so bad for the older couple behind us. Drunk and high kids fighting with concert goers, it just sucked. I'm all for having fun, drinking, smoking pot, whatever, but not when it affects people who paid money to see a show, especially those poor people behind us that were so upset after everything they went through to get to the show. My 17 year old son was with us and the excitement was gone before the show even started. Some chick blew cigarette smoke in his face and said "wanna try one." Let's just say umm no. Hey, it was utter confusion, I couldn't even tell you what he sang. We've seen other shows before on the lawn and they were cool.
